Pulsar 135LS in the four stroke air cooled 135cc 4 valve single cylinder DTS-I engine and a very high top-end RPM limit of 10,500! A 240mm dic brake at the front and drum brake at the rear should provide adequate stopping power for the LS 135. The Pulsar 135LS is the first Indian motorcycle engine that offers four valves. Torque is 11.4 Nm @ 7500 rpm.

According to Bajaj, this 4 valve set-up not just results in better performance but also better mileage. Pulsar 135LS comes with a standard 5-speed manual transmission. According to ARAI, pulsar 135LS returns 68.1km/l.
